Kim was a prominent member of the central Indiana Windtrax organization and had over 30 high altitude balloon flight operations to his credit.

The map below depicts the expected Radio Horizon for the 2 meter transmitting payloads at Altitude. These include APRS, Beacon and Cross Band Repeater. ARBONET 2 is predeicted to fly on a heading of approximately 128 degrees South East downrange from the launch site by 45 miles. This shifts the pattern favorably toward our SE neighbor states.
