6:00 PM – Launch Go-No Go Decision
Friday OCTOBER 19th
1:00 – 4:00 PM – HF antenna assembly @ airport; ground station layout review
7:00 PM – Dinner – Fish Fry Restaurant Paris, TX (Be sure Bob Dickey has you on the list for a correct head count).
Saturday OCTOBER 20th
7:30 – Arrive Airport – Ground station set-up begins
7:45 – Team Meeting / Safety Briefing – launch area
8:00 – Team Picture
8:15 – Preliminary payload functional check out – payload prep area / mission control
Final payload weight determined lift requirement calculated – launch area
8:45 – Winds Aloft / weather / chase team briefing – mission control area
9:00 – HF net activity starts – mission control
9:00 – Pre-deployment teams notified of landing zone area and deployed
9:10- Launch Sequence Commence – launch area
Payload Preparations and final module closure for launch
Tether preparations
Balloon Fill
Payload attachment
Final payload check
9:15 Notify ATC of imminent launch and predicted flight path
9:29 – Announce balloon deployment on Unicom Frequency
9:30 – Balloon Release
9:30 – 11:30 – Mission Operations
9:40 -- (Approximately) Notify ATC of reaching 10,000 ft and present position, speed and course
9:45 – Chase teams depart
9:50 -- (Approximately) Notify ATC of reaching FL 230, position, speed and course
10:05--(Approximately) Notify ATC of reaching FL 370, position, speed and course
10:15-- (Approximately) Notify ATC of reaching FL 500, position, speed and course
11:00 --(Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon descent occurence
11:30--(Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon reaching FL500, position, speed and course
11:40--(Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon reaching FL370, position, speed and course
11:50 -- (Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon reaching FL230, position speed and course
12:00 -- (Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon reaching 10,000 ft, position, speed and course
12:10 -- (Approximately) Notify ATC of balloon reaching ground and position of landing
11:30 – 12:30 – Recovery, depending on ascent rate, burst altitude and descent rate
1:00 – Debrief flight events
1:00 -- Cookout at Clarksville Airport
